Veterinarian Dolittle

Drama

“Tottori Kenichi is a foul-mouthed but gifted veterinarian nicknamed Dolittle. His catch phrase is 'pet care means business'. He is the director of his animal clinic and rescues not only 'voiceless' pets but also helps their owners, who lack understanding and caution, with their problems and worries. Working with him is animal nurse Tajima Asuka. Hanabishi Masaru is Dolittle's rival, a charismatic vet and director of another animal hospital who has not only an opposite personality but also a different stance towards pet care.”

Help!! An Animal's Voice

The episode introduces us to the main character - Kenichi Tottori. He works in his own animal hospital, taking ill animals in that were rejected by other clinics. He demands horrendous fees for his operations, but they always succeed. Tajima Asuka asks him to operate her horse. He does but she cannot come up with the operatin fees. That's why Tottori employs her. Although Tottori is a very cynical and blunt person, he deeply cares for the injured animals and tries his best to help them recover.
