Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars

After being wronged and mistreated at work, Xian Yong returns to his hometown carrying emotional scars. Beneath a night of shooting stars, he makes a desperate wish “to disappear,” while his friend wishes for a passionate love. Neither expects that this moment will mark the beginning of a rewritten destiny.

Xian Yong wakes up to find himself transformed into a stranger named Zhong Xiao You. He crosses paths with Hao Wei, who has come to work at his father’s guesthouse. Meanwhile, Wan Zhe’s wish begins to take shape, as his Japanese friend and coworker Xiao Hai suddenly confesses his feelings to him.

Xiao Hai launches a bold and direct pursuit of Wan Zhe, expressing his feelings with unwavering intensity. Meanwhile, Hao Wei stays by the anxious Xiao You’s side, and an unexplainable sense of familiarity begins to grow between them.

Xiao You unexpectedly knows a secret that only Xian Yong and Hao Wei shared, leaving Hao Wei deeply shaken. Meanwhile, Wan Zhe acts resistant toward Xiao Hai, but in truth, he finds himself caring about him more and more.

Xian Yong’s publisher demands heavy compensation as a result of him going missing, but his father steps forward to take full responsibility. Witnessing this, the now-transformed Xiao You is deeply moved by his father’s unspoken love.

On a slightly intoxicated night, Hao Wei mistakenly kisses Xiao You, believing him to be Xian Yong, leaving Xiao You caught between emotions. At the same time, Xiao Hai makes a heartfelt promise to Wan Zhe, pulling him into a struggle between hesitation and desire.

Xiao You continues to hide the truth, which causes his misunderstanding with Hao Wei to rupture. Meanwhile, Wan Zhe chooses to withdraw, unable to face Xiao Hai’s deep and sincere feelings.

Wan Zhe finally confronts his true feelings and rushes to the mainland to find Xiao Hai. Meanwhile, Xiao You also heads there to face the publisher over his debt and Hao Wei. As their paths cross once again, the fates of the four become tightly intertwined.

Everyone begins to notice their memories becoming distorted. If the wish is fulfilled, everything about He Xiang Yong will disappear. But if the wish is taken back, will Xiao Hai’s love vanish as well?

A familiar taste awakens Hao Wei’s buried memories, leading him to realize that Xiao You is actually Xian Yong. Meanwhile, Wan Zhe confesses the secret behind the wish, and Xiao Hai responds with unwavering commitment.

In an attempt to break the cost of the wish, Xiao You searches for fragments of the fallen meteor, but this leads to a fierce conflict between him and Wan Zhe.
